They say “you are what you eat”. We all know it to be true. Eat a big salad with some juicy tomatoes, kale, and cucumbers and you feel fabulous. However, eat a big fast food burger dripping with grease and a pile of salty fries, well…you’ll most likely feel the need to eat an entire bottle of Tums!
Here’s the crazy part though…
Is that salad all that much healthier than the fast food meal? When you compare the fats, cholesterol, and sodium, sure it is! Don’t get me wrong, those are important but what about the salad?

I’m just a country girl at heart, living in the city, while trying to enjoying the “lentil” things.
